It's that time of year again when the rumour mill goes into overdrive. Here we take a look at who Liverpool are being linked with in the media.
Today, ESPN reported Fiorentina winger Juan Manuel Vargas could be open to a switch to Merseyside. Vargas has been linked with a move away from Fiorentina this summer and ESPN claim the Reds have been mooted as potential suitors.
Sky Sports also reckon a move for Vargas could be on the cards, as the Peruvian has just one season left to run on his current contract. Sky added that Arsenal and Spanish outfit Malaga are also keen on acquiring the services of the 28-year-old.
Yesterday, TalkSport reported that Liverpool and Manchester City have been invited to bid for Bologna midfielder Gaston Ramirez.
The talented playmaker netted eight goals and produced four assists in 33 Serie A outings last season as Bologna secured a ninth-placed finish and TalkSport reckons Bologna president Albano Guaraldi has opened the door for the Premier League duo to bid for Ramirez.
