Joseph Dines made just one league appearance for Liverpool, as a defender in the third match of the 1912-13 season, away to Chelsea, which the Reds won 2-1.
Dines played 27 games for England's amateur side and won a football gold medal at the 1912 Olympic games. He was killed on the Western front on September, 27, 1918.
