Stanley Kane was the goalkeeping 'cover' for first-team regular Arthur Riley for two seasons in the middle of the 1930's.

Riley played in all but three of the league fixtures in both those seasons, leaving Stanley with a record of six appearances between the posts, during which he conceded 13 goals.
