After a 0-0 draw at the Nou Camp, Gerard Houllier's men progressed to the UEFA Cup final courtesy of a slender victory over the Catalan giants. Gary McAllister swept a penalty past Pepe Reina as Pep Guardiola looked on to send Anfield into rapture on the stroke of half-time. A truly unforgettable night.
