Brendan Rodgers has opted for six changes to his Liverpool team to face Oldham Athletic in the FA Cup on Sunday, with captain Steven Gerrard restored to the starting line-up.
After returning as a substitute against Hull City on Wednesday following a month out with a hamstring problem, the skipper is included from the start for the third-round clash at Anfield.
Luis Alberto, Brad Jones, Martin Kelly, Victor Moses and Kolo Toure are also named in the XI to take on the Latics, with Philippe Coutinho, Lucas Leiva, Simon Mignolet, Martin Skrtel and Luis Suarez dropping to the bench.
Academy midfielder Cameron Brannagan follows in the recent footsteps of Jordan Rossiter and Brad Smith in being selected in Rodgers' squad for a senior fixture.
