Liverpool have injury worries ahead of the Far East tour in Thailand and Hong Kong after Salif Diao and Markus Babbel picked up injuries in the 1-1 friendly draw with Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
Diao will have a scan on his ankle today (Sunday) and the Reds medical staff will also assess Markus Babbel who has a knee problem.
Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier is hoping they won't be serious injuries.
Said Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier: "Salif Diao got a bad kick on his ankle which is also very sore and we will scan him as well.
"Markus Babbel has a bit of a twist in his knee. We are hoping it's not a medial ligament injury but we will see on Sunday. Florent Sinama Pongolle also took a bit of a knock but he should be ok."
