A seven-goal thriller thriller comes into our countdown at No.41 of Liverpool's 100 Most Exciting PL Games.

Gerard Houllier's side went second in the Premier League after a 4-3 win against Blackburn Rovers on a thrilling night at Anfield.

Danny Murphy fired the Reds in front only for rumoured Anfield target Damien Duff to equalise for Rovers.

Nicolas Anelka made it 2-1 but again Blackburn refused to give up and Andy Cole made it 2-2.

Sami Hyypia then grabbed a third only for Matt Jansen to level things up again 10 minutes from time.

However, with five minutes left, Liverpool kept asking the Blackburn defence questions and Emile Heskey fired a dramatic winner.
