We've asked five experts to pick a player to watch for 2010-11, with their selections featuring on .tv all this week. Today, our very own Steve Hunter - the man behind Hunter's Hopes - chooses a winger with football in his blood.
Player profile: A second year Academy scholar, Tom will enter into his final season in Kirkby hoping to impress and become a permanent fixture at Melwood.
The son of former Reds captain, Paul, he is regarded as a very exciting prospect and was a key player in the Youth Cup team that reached the final in 2009.
Ince can play as a left winger but he also excelled playing just off the striker in the Steven Gerrard role.
He has a sweet left foot and will look to make more progress this season.
Steve Hunter says: Tom is a player that excites you when he is on the ball and is a real talent.
He is a totally different player to his dad as Tom can beat players for fun and score goals. He also has great vision and a sweet left foot.
He has been well coached at the Academy and has a great attitude. Next season will be the one where he looks to break into John McMahon's reserve team and make more progress.
Ince was in dazzling form during 2008-09 when he played as a second striker during the run to the FA Youth Cup final. He scored some great goals including a fabulous free-kick at Elland Road.
I was also impressed with the way he conducted himself admirably when quizzed by the TV cameras after the FA Youth Cup final defeat to Arsenal and was very gracious in defeat.
This campaign Rodolfo Borrell has used him as a left winger and he has played a key role in the U18s unbeaten end to the season which has seen them go nine games undefeated.
