Rafael Benitez has warned Liverpool's rivals that Fernando Torres could one day be twice the player he is now.
The Reds boss is convinced the number 9 can take his game to new heights and is confident there is still much more to come from the 25-year-old.
"Torres doesn't need to get any physically stronger, but the aim is for him to have better movement, things like that.
"If he can learn and analyse and improve things then in the next four or five years he can do really well.
"He can improve 100 per cent, I guarantee that."
Liverpool take on Chelsea this afternoon with both sides looking to bounce back from recent setbacks.
While the Reds came unstuck away to Fiorentina, Chelsea saw their unbeaten Barclays Premier League record end at Wigan.
Benitez believes the Londoners' defeat against the Latics proves they do have weaknesses and feels he has a gameplan that can help the Reds earn three valuable points.
He said: "I know Roberto (Martinez) so I knew what he was thinking last weekend.
"Physically, Wigan are stronger than us so you can't always play in the same way.
"But they had some good ideas and an excellent gameplan, and we have analysed how Chelsea attack and defend."
