As Gary Ablett's reserves prepare to travel to Newcastle tonight, Liverpoolfc.tv continues its series putting the spotlight on the club's second string.
Today it's the turn of left winger Vincent Lucas Weijl, who arrived on Merseyside in July.
The Amsterdam-born youngster spent four years coming through the ranks at Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar before signing a three-year deal at Anfield.
He's now learning his trade with Ablett and the reserves at Melwood.
Weijl has impressed during his short time in England with his traditional brand of wingplay, and many on Merseyside are hopeful that the first team could one day benefit from his excellent crosses.
Who is the best player you have played against?
I played for the reserves at Alkmaar against one of the Dutch first teams - they were all really good players. There are obviously players who I'd love to play against, like Steven Gerrard. He is the best midfielder in the world and I'd love to test myself.
Three things you'd take to a desert island?
A football, a Liverpool shirt and my girlfriend.
What's your best dish?
Chicken and rice it tastes good.
Favourite film?
Scarface.
Boyhood club?
Ajax.
Ringtone?
I don't have one. It just vibrates.
What's the best thing about Liverpool?
The city centre. I like the shopping and there are lots of old buildings. I like it, it's nice here.
Career high?
I am still young but so far it is signing for Liverpool, definitely.
Last book you read?
I don't read!
What are your strengths as a player?
I would say my crossing and my movement. I am also good at heading the ball.
And weaknesses?
I was a striker but I want to play on the left, which is my strongest side, and to do that I need to defend. It is the same kind of thing as with Ryan Babel. I want to play as and learn to be a left winger.
