The Times journalist Tony Barrett has joined The Kop, Liverpoolfc.tv's brand new social media platform.
Tony - one of the most respected LFC journalists in the business - will be using the platform to write an exclusive blog every week.
The lifelong Liverpool fan made a name for himself on the news and features desks at the Echo before replacing Chris Bascombe as LFC reporter in 2007.
Two years later he was snapped up by The Times to report on Merseyside football - and his reputation has continued to grow with every exclusive.
Tony's popularity has been underlined in the last two weeks as an impressive 16,000 fans have followed his newly-created Twitter account.
Now he aims to conquer The Kop with a weekly blog that you won't be able to read anywhere else.
