Injured Liverpool star Alberto Aquilani has revealed the thought of scoring at Anfield's Kop end has driven his comeback bid.
Aquilani is close to making his Liverpool debut after missing the start of the season because of an ankle injury.
The summer signing from Roma admits he has found it hard coping with the injury, but says he cannot wait to play at Anfield and hopefully score at the Kop end.
"It's not been easy for me. I moved to a new club in a different country and have been unable to play or train properly," Aquilani told the club's official magazine.
"It is not a good feeling when you are not involved with the team.
"But it is my ambition to score at the Kop end. I've thought about it a lot during my rehab here.
"Anfield is a great stadium with a superb atmosphere. I can't wait to play in front of that crowd."
