Liverpool have been linked with an £17.9million move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Brendan Rodgers has signed a number of players already this summer but the Liverpool boss is yet to snare a replacement for Luis Suarez, who joined Barcelona in a £75million move earlier this summer.
Rodgers has been linked with a number of strikers and it seems as if he is set to launch a move for Argentine forward Lavezzi.
PSG are prepared to cash in on Lavezzi in order to free up funds, and space on their wage bill, for a move for Real Madrid's Angel di Maria and Spanish newspaper AS claims Liverpool are plotting a swoop for the frontman.
Lavezzi is also understood to be open to a move away from the Parc des Princes after struggling to cement a place in the starting line-up following his 30million euro move to the French capital from Napoli in 2012.
