Liverpool are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.
Boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to bring in a new left-back this summer but he saw a move for Moreno collapse earlier in the transfer window due to Sevilla's £20million asking price, with Liverpool only prepared to pay £14million.
Rodgers had been linked with a move for Chelsea's Bertrand but he has agreed a loan switch to Southampton, with the Blues reluctant to do business with a title rival.
It is understood that the La Liga side want to keep hold of Moreno until after their UEFA Super Cup date with Spanish rivals Real Madrid on August 12 but Liverpool could make a move after that fixture, although it remains to be seen as to whether Sevilla will lower their asking price for the 22-year-old.
