Liverpool have joined the race for Copenhagen left-back Oscar Wendt, who is available on a free transfer in the summer.
Kenny Dalglish is understood to be in the market for a left-back after allowing Paul Konchesky to join Nottingham Forest on loan in January, after his failure to settle at the club.
And, according to reports in Sweden, Wendt is top of Liverpool's wish-list after impressing for Copenhagen in their run to the Champions League last 16.
The 25-year-old Sweden international is said to be keen on a move to one of Europe's major leagues and he may get his wish this summer, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich also tracking him.
