Brendan Rodgers hailed the 'sheer brilliance' of Luis Suarez after he inspired Liverpool FC to a 5-1 win over Norwich City.
Suarez was in scintillating form at Anfield, scoring four times and creating another as the Reds ran riot at Anfield, and Rodgers was quick to praise the 26-year-old's display.
Suarez is now the Premier League's leading scorer, and took his Reds league goals tally past 50 with a series of special strikes.
"I haven't seen many performances like that," said Rodgers. "Just sheer brilliance, that was.
"It was a joy for me tonight. To witness that, it was just a remarkable individual performance. I always like to talk about the team, but I think we've got to hold Luis up tonight as one of the best strikers in the world. It was an incredible performance.
"You go through his goals, and don't forget the assist at the end. The world class operators, the Ronaldos and the Messis, those type of players, it is all about their numbers and what they produce.
"You look at Suarez, the goals that he scores and the assists that he makes, it's a pleasure to have him."
