Newcastle’s left back Jose Enrique appears set for a move at the end of the season, and Bayern Munich are the latest to show interest in the 25 year old, according to reports.
Liverpool, Manchester United and AC Milan have shown interest in the Spanish Toon man, with Liverpool being most linked to the star after the departure of Andy Carroll, who Enrique made a successful playing partnership with.
Enrique has refused contract renewal talks with Newcastle manage Alan Pardew until the summer, with Pardew telling reporters last month, "Jose has made it quite clear to us that until we're safe he doesn't want to open any discussions and we're comfortable with that, it makes sense for us."
Liverpool's offer of competing in Europe would have tempted Enrique, but with the Kop currently looking unlikely to challenge for even a Europa place, The Spaniard might be tempted by a move to German top flight side Bayern Munich.
talkSPORT are reporting that Bayern are willing to offer £13.5 million for Enrique, and are waiting to see if Newcastle are relegated before making their move.
The Toon currently sit at eleventh on the Barclays Premier League table, however they are only four points away from the drop zone. With just one win from ten starts, and eight games left to stake their claim on remaining in the top flight, Enrique looks like he will only know where he's going at the last minute.
