Liverpool are inching closer to making two more additions to their squad, with chief executive Ian Ayre jetting out to Spain to try and tie up deals for Alberto Moreno and Javier Manquillo.
The Reds according to reports, are hoping to clinch a £20million deal for Sevilla left-back Moreno while they are closing in on thrashing out a two-year loan deal for Atletico Madrid right back Manquillo, who was previously a transfer target for Arsenal.
The deal for Manquillo will provide an option to buy him permanently for £6m.
Should Liverpool secure both deals, it would take their summer spending past the £100m mark.Liverpool have already splurged approximately £90m on six players this summer - Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Dejan Lovren, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi.
And Brendan Rodgers has already hinted at more additions when he said on the club's pre-season tour of the USA.
He said: "We still have some business to do.
"We have some positions that we want to fill so by the end of August we'll have a strong squad to go forward with."
