Swansea boss Garry Monk has confirmed that Liverpool are yet to make a new bid for star striker Wilfried Bony.
The Ivory Coast international is wanted by Brendan Rodgers.
The Northern Irishman is hopeful of signing PSG attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi before the transfer window shuts, but wants Bony to lead the line at Anfield as he looks to challenge once again for the Premier League title.
The former Vitesse Arnhem hitman struck 17 times in 34 league games last season, but Swansea are desperate to keep hold of him after allowing Michu to join Rafa Benitez at Napoli on a season-long loan.
However, there is currently no offer on the table, and Swansea boss Monk admitted that for the meantime, Bony is set to stay in Wales, saying: "No offers have come into the club."
