Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has promised his team will bounce back from their recent dip in form.
The Reds are six points adrift of Barclays Premier League leaders Chelsea after their 2-0 reverse at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, which was the third defeat of the campaign for Rafa Benitez's side.
The loss to the Blues followed a disappointing result against Fiorentina in the UEFA Champions League, but the skipper maintains they are still in the title race.
Gerrard, who is preparing for England's game against Ukraine at the weekend, says there is a long way to go before the end of the season, and that his team will dig deep to turn their form around.
"There is so much more to come from us and a hell of a lot of football still to play between now and May," he told LFC Magazine.
"We're up for the challenges that lie ahead. It will come down to who wants it the most and who is prepared to dig deepest.
"When the manager demands a reaction from us he gets it, and that's going to come in the games between now and the next Champions League match too."
