Liverpool are considering bids for four more players this summer alongside top targets Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Yevhen Konoplyanka.
According to the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Sporting Lisbon left-back Marcos Rojo is also under consideration, while Brendan Rodgers is weighing up offers for Tom Ince, Will Hughes and Kyriakos Papadopoulos as well.
Reports in the English press earlier today said that the Anfield hierarchy would hand Rodgers up to £70m to spend on five new signings this summer, with Mkhitaryan and Konoplyanka the only target mentioned by name.
But A Bola elaborates further and claims that these four other players are also under consideration.
Rojo in particular has emerged as a key target for Liverpool, with club scouts in attendance on a regular basis at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Equally comfortable at centre-back or left-back, Liverpool value his versatility with the club eager to strengthen in defence at the end of the season.
Ince and Hughes, who play for Crystal Palace (on loan from Blackpool) and Derby County respectively, have been linked with Liverpool in the past.
