Henderson losing patience with Sunderland

Jordan Henderson is growing frustrated that his move from Sunderland to Liverpool may not go through before the England U21 squad fly to Denmark for the European Championship.

But Henderson, 20, will not ask for a transfer.

Sunderland are awaiting confirmation that Liverpool's offer is rising by £3m to £18m and David Ngog has been mentioned as a potential makeweight.

Liverpool have agreed a deal for Roma goalkeeper Doni, 31, as back-up for Pepe Reina.

Ashley Young's £15m move from Aston Villa to Manchester United is expected to go through in 48 hours.
