Want-away Japan international Keisuke Honda has admitted to his frustration at current club CSKA Moscow.
Speculation has suggested the Japan midfielder could seal a switch away from Russia this summer.
The likes of Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with a move for his services, although neither club have yet to comment on the rumours.
Honda has confirmed his intention to leave CSKA Moscow, telling Japan's Nikkan Sports newspaper: "It's agonising.
"I can't stay like this. I said I wanted Japan to win the World Cup. I was MVP at the Asian Cup in January but I'm still not happy with things.
"Right now I'm in a rut still being at CSKA. This wasn't what I planned. If I don't accept it, I can't live my life. But if I get too used to my circumstances I'll come to a halt.
