Liverpool are keen on out-of-favour Benfica winger Ola John.
The 21-year-old has struggled to make an impact at the Estadio da Luz since joining up in the summer of 2012, arriving from FC Twente for an initial €9m.
Liverpool were also credited with an interest at that time, but John ended up in Portugal.
But life with Benfica has been far from a bed of roses for John, who had been tipped as one of Dutch football's most promising players while at Twente.
Last term he managed to start just 15 of his 22 appearances in the Portuguese top flight for Jorge Jesus' side, while this season he has played just three times in the Primeira Liga.
Now, according to Portuguese daily Record, John is firmly on the list of potential purchases at Liverpool.
The Reds are keen on snapping up another winger and the 21-year-old fits the bill.
Ajax are interested in taking John back to Holland, but Frank de Boer's men want an initial loan, which may make shipping the Holland international to Liverpool a more attractive option for Benfica.
