Liverpool target Rory Donnelly has chosen to snub Anfield in favour of a move to Swansea.
The Northern Irish youngster had been strongly linked with a switch to Liverpool and talkSPORT last week revealed Kenny Dalglish was confident of landing him.
But Swansea have stepped in and are about to sign the Cliftonville striker for around £100,000.
Donnelly, 19, has agreed personal terms at the Liberty Stadium and is all set to become a Swansea player in January.
It is something of a coup for manager Brendan Rodgers - he watched Donnelly in the County Antrim Shield back in November and had a bid rejected before finally getting his man.
