Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has welcomed speculation linking him to Liverpool by admitting he would like to join the Reds.
Reports in Italy this week suggest Brendan Rodgers is considering a bid for the 23 year-old defensive midfielder, who has already won 41 caps for Ghana.
Speaking to Goal, he said: "I have not heard anything from my agent - at the moment it is all speculation."
"We will have to see what happens in the next two weeks because it has always been my dream to play in England.
"We played against Liverpool in the Europa League last year so I know all about them. They are a really good team who have been performing well this season and I would be very happy to join them.
"I'm settled in Italy but the chance to play for such a big club is something I couldn't pass up."
Brendan Rodgers was an admirer of Agyemang-Badu's during his time in charge of Swansea, and may well make a move to sign him for Liverpool this month after agreeing the Reds need to strengthen their squad to remain competitive this season.
