Liverpool are handing a 10-trial to highly-rated Mexican teenager Marco Bueno.
The 17-year-old striker is expected to travel to LFC next month and if he impresses the move is likely to be made permanent.
His Mexican club Pachuca say talks have already taken place over a fee and a potential five-year deal for the Under-17 World Cup winner.
Pachuca vice president Andres Fassi said: "We are conducting negotiations with Liverpool and possibly on August 1 Marco will pay a visit to Liverpool. They want to buy 100 per cent of the rights."
Bueno caught the eye at the U17 World Cup in Mexico earlier this month but has been hampered by a calf injury in recent weeks.
The youngster is refusing to get carried away with talk of making the switch to Anfield.
"Right now I'm not aware, I've only heard rumours," he said. "It's great the thought of fulfilling the dream of going to Liverpool but now I just concentrate on doing my rehab."
