Liverpool scouts watched Antoine Griezmann in Real Sociedad's 1-1 draw with Granada on Monday night.

The French winger has been in fine form this season, and has been monitored by other Premier League sides.

The game also gave Liverpool staff the chance to check on his Sociedad teammate centre-back Inigo Martinez while Tiago Ilori, on loan from Liverpool, was playing for Granada.

Griezmann, 24, has scored 16 goals in all competions for Sociedad this season, but a fifth place finish means no Champions League football next year.

That may alert several top European clubs, though Liverpool are keen to steal a march on their rivals.
