Metro: Klopp pushing for Marco Reus swoop

Liverpool could be about to try an ambitious move to sign Marco Reus in the January transfer window, with Jürgen Klopp reportedly desperate for a reunion with the Borussia Dortmund star.

The Germany international has long been regarded as one of the best attacking players in the world, and his form this season has caught the Reds' eye.

Real Madrid are also interested in Reus, according to Spanish source Fichajes.net, though Klopp's presence at Anfield could give them some edge in the deal.

The 26-year-old is known to be good friends with Klopp, who recognises the quality he could bring to his team.
