Liverpool are reportedly close to finalising a two-year loan deal for Atletico Madrid full-back Javier Manquillo.
Brendan Rodgers has already strengthened his squad this summer with the arrivals of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren from Southampton and Emre Can, Divock Origi and Lazar Markovic from abroad.
And according to The Telegraph, Manquillo will become the Anfield outfit's next signing - with the 20-year-old set to fly to Merseyside on Monday to undergo a medical.
The deal - which is expected to be completed within the next few days - will also allow Liverpool to make Manquillo's move permanent for about £5m next summer or enable the Reds to cancel the agreement.
Manquillo is one of two defenders that Rodgers is keen on signing in the coming weeks with the club also negotiating a move for Sevilla full-back Alberto Moreno.
