Metro: Reds eye Mario Suarez swoop

Liverpool are in talks to sign Mario Suarez from Fiorentina with the midfielder unsettled, according to reports.

Suarez, a Spain international, was linked with Liverpool while at Atletico Madrid before he eventually joined Fiorentina in the summer.

The move hasn't been a total success though, and Fichajes quotes Italian reports in saying the Reds are now in talks over a deal.

It's claimed Suarez would cost about £6million to sign, making him a bit of a bargain transfer deal if it goes through.
