Metro: Reds want Villa duo

Liverpool want to sign Aston Villa duo Fabian Delph and Ron Vlaar in a £15million deal, according to reports.

The Reds are on the lookout for new players ahead of the January transfer window, with Brendan Rodgers set to be given funds to spend on his squad.

And reports say Villa midfielder Delph and their Dutch centre back Vlaar are key targets, with a £15million offer set to go in for both players.

Delph, who is also a target for Tottenham, looks certain to leave Villa in the coming months, and while Vlaar has previously hinted he'll stay, a deal could be done for the right price.
