Liverpool and Manchester United could be set to embark on a tug-of-war over a cut-price deal for AC Milan's Stephan El Shaarawy, according to reports.
The 22-year-old is believed to be surplus to requirements at the San Siro, as Milan look to raise funds for a squad overhaul.
And according to reports in the Daily Express, the Serie A side could be willing to offer El Shaarawy for just £11.5m in the January transfer window, with Liverpool and Man United both believed to be prospective suitors.
The forward's agent, Manuel El Shaarawy has previously stated he would only leave Milan for a 'sensational' fee, but it appears the club may be willing to listen to offers, with the youngster having only scored one goal in 13 appearances so far this term.
