Liverpool and Arsenal have been put on red alert with the news that France international Yann M'Vila is likely to leave Russia this summer.
The former Rennes midfielder, 23, has been with Rubin Kazan since a £10.5million move 14 months ago, but has fallen out of favour under new manager Rinat Bilyaletdinov - father of former Everton midfielder Diniyar.
Tough-tackling M'Vila has lost his place in Kazan's midfield since the Russian winter break thanks to a mixture of injury problems and suspension while Bilyaletdinov hasn't been impressed with the Frenchman's attitude since becoming Kazan boss in January.
And he has told the midfielder that he won't walk back into the team when he returns to full fitness, whilst reportedly also declaring that M'Vila isn't as good as he thinks he is.
Additionally, there are suggestions that Bilyaletdinov wants to increase his side's Russian core during the summer transfer window and that could see M'Vila pushed out, with a move to the Premier League a possibility.
M'Vila has spoken in the past about his keenness to try his hand in English football, while he has been heavily linked in the past with both Arsenal and Liverpool.
