Alberto Aquilani will not face an extended spell on the sidelines after tests revealed no significant damage to his right adductor muscle.
The Liverpool midfielder, who is on loan at Juventus, was forced off in the second half of Juve's game against Genoa after feeling pain in the area.
However, the club have revealed tests carried out on Tuesday morning did not show anything of concern and confirmed Aquilani simply suffered "muscle fatigue".
The playmaker will rest on Wednesday and Thursday before returning to training.
