Mauro Zarate will not be leaving Lazio any time soon, according to his brother and agent Sergio Zarate.
The Argentine striker was recently criticised by his club boss Edy Reja for being selfish, alerting interested parties to his potential availability.
The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked with the 22-year-old in recent times, but Zarate's brother insists a summer switch to England is highly unlikely.
"It's normal that there are clubs all over the world interested in Mauro," Sergio Zarate explained.
"But no-one has ever contacted me up to now.
"Even if there were offers, my brother wouldn't move because he is too attached to the Lazio fans."
Zarate, who joined Lazio on a permanent basis last summer, has struggled to produce his best form this season, scoring just four goals.
He shot to prominence last term, while on loan in Rome, when he found the target 13 times as Lazio won the Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup.
