Liverpool are set to target wide men in the summer with Ashley Young of Aston Villa and Matt Jarvis of Wolves high on the shopping list.
Kenny Dalglish, who looks certain to be handed the reigns as manager on a permanent basis this summer, has targeted wide men as he seeks ammunition for Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez up front.
Neither Villa nor Wolves will be keen to allow their star man to leave but both are fighting against the drop and, if they were to lose that battle, then they would be hard fought to keep their young England stars.
Dalglish has admitted he will be targeting people who will complement his expensive front line, he said: "That's something we will analyse.
"Andy is part of our team, so is Luis Suarez so we need to get players who complement them.
"Whatever we need we will go for."
