Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has poured cold water on the prospect of re-signing a former Red.

fullback Stephen Warnock has been linked with an Anfield return as Hodgson seeks a new left-back signing.

Asked if he was trying to bring Warnock back to provide reinforcements at left-back, Hodgson said: "No."
