The Daily Mirror claim this morning that "Liverpool are tracking Hungarian starlet Vladimir Koman."
Koman, 20, is currently on loan at Bari for the season from Sampdoria and was hugely impressive during Hungary's run to the semi-finals of the recent Under-20 World Cup in Egypt.
The 5.7ft midfielder has come through the ranks at Sampdoria and during 2008/2009 was loaned to Avellino where he scored four goals in 27 appearances.
He is predominantly an attacking midfielder but can also play in a deeper role or on the left wing. Koman is contracted to Sampdoria until the end of the 2011/2012 campaign.
Scouts in Italy describe Koman as "a very talented player, a midfield organiser and a true leader with excellent personality. He has very good technical abilities and pace, which means he can also play as a winger."
Liverpool already have a number of Hungarian players on their books, including goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi and strikers Andras Simon and Krisztian Nemeth.
