Niko Kranjcar - a reported target for Liverpool - is ready to leave Tottenham in the summer in order to find regular first team football.
The Croatia international has found opportunities hard to come by at White Hart Lane since the emergence of Gareth Bale and has frequently been linked with a move away from the club.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is known to be keen to keep the 26-year-old in north London but Kranjcar is preparing to quit the club at the end of the season - which will no doubt alert Liverpool and other alleged suitors.
"I will be trying to find a football club where I can play regularly, like any footballer would," said Kranjcar.
"It depends who wants me, if anyone wants me."
He added: "I obviously miss otball. I'm not in my best shape because I don't play week in, week out. So obviously those 90 minutes (against France) help towards getting fitter and hopefully get some more chances.
"I'm ambitious, I want to play football. Especially in my best years."
Liverpool have previously been linked with a move for midfield maestro by Metro, and caughtoffside.com has since reported that the Anfield club have 'earmarked' Kranjcar as potential transfer window acquisition.
The director of football at Anfield, Damien Comolli, is thought to be interested in the versatile former Portsmouth man as Liverpool look for attacking reinforcements when the window reopens.
Kranjcar can operate in the middle, behind the striker or as a winger and Liverpool are known to be after more potent wide options.
