Riera to seal Olympiacos deal

Albert Riera's Liverpool career is finally expected to end today with a move to Olympiacos close to completion.

The Spaniard was met by thousands of supporters at the airport as he flew in to complete the move.

The Spanish international has been on his way out of Anfield for some time now, for the past year really but more so in the last six months or so after being publicly critical of former Reds Boss Rafa. This was meant to see him move to Russia but a move fell through due to excessive personal demands from the 28 year old.

Riera's Reds career hasn't been spared by Roy Hodgson's arrival and the winger will undergo a medical today and is then expected to sign a three year contract with the option of a fourth.
