IT'S probably too early to say Liverpool are on a real winning streak league wise - though victories over Bolton, Burnley and West Ham hopefully suggest that's the case, writes Anfield Iron Tommy Smith.
But for me the most significant thing is that we are yet to draw a single league game.
With three points for a win these days it means that - despite the two defeats already to Spurs and Villa - the Reds can soon repair all the damage done if they can carry on winning games - and certainly keep those costly draws off their record this season.
In the Premier League now a draw is almost tantamount to a defeat - particularly when it comes against teams you are expected to beat. We all know how last season stalemates against the like of Hull, Stoke, West Ham, Fulham and Wigan caused serious damage to a very real title challenge.
So for me there is good reason to be more optimistic than one or two pundits who seem to have written off Liverpool are being right now.
Of course it's the points total that matters most of all.
But if we can keep that 'draws' column blank for as long as possible, then those two defeats early season might not turn out to be too damaging after all.
