Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Antoine Griezmann and Inigo Martinez ahead of what is expected to be a busy summer transfer market at Anfield.
Although the Reds look have missed out on the Premier League title, they have overachieved under Brendan Rodgers and now the manager is looking at new additions to bolster his Champions League squad.
That search looks to have already begun and according to the Daily Mail, scouts have been watching the duo in action on Monday when Real Sociedad entertained Granada in a 1-1 draw.
Griezmann has been the constant interest of a host of Premier League sides including Arsenal after a number of fine performances.
Sociedad have almost conceded that they will lose their star man in the summer as he looks set to jet off to Brazil with the France squad for the World Cup.
The report also claims that Liverpool monitored Inigo Martinez. Rodgers is looking to strengthen his defence as a main priority and central defender Martinez could fit that bill.
