Liverpool target Shinji Kagawa insists he has no intention of leaving Borussia Dortmund.
The Japan international has attracted interest from across Europe after establishing himself as an integral member of the Bundesliga champions' first team.
And it has been widely reported that Liverpool were one of the frontrunners in the race for his signature - along with AC Milan and Juventus.
The 22-year-old is valued at around £20m by Dortmund, who are keen to hang on to Kagawa and his other highly-rated team-mates like Mario Gotze and Lucas Barrios.
But, after Kagawa's seven goals in 19 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, the playmaker has once again been linked with a move away from Dortmund this summer.
But, in an interview published by German newspaper ZDF, Kagawa has ruled out leaving the club.
"I'm having a terrific time and would be happy if this were to continue. I want to stay," he said. "I feel so good here, why should I go?"
