Liverpool could land Italy international Antonio Candreva in the summer as the midfielder's stock continues to rise, according to reports in Italy.
The playmaker is Lazio's most consistent midfielder this season with 19 Serie A appearances and four goals.
The 26-year-old has had a nomadic career up to date, after numerous loan deals around Italy, before moving to the the Stadio Olimpico on a permanent deal in June 2013 for around £1.5m.
Now, after flourishing at Lazio, he is a regular in the Italy squad and only injury could keep him out of the squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Lazio are desperate to hold on to Candreva after he played a central role in winning the Coppa Italia last season.
But Liverpool, who manager Brendan Rodgers now admits are Premier League title contenders, could now lure the talented schemer with a big-money move, according to Corriere della Sera.
