Manchester City and Liverpool are keeping tabs on Lazio wonderkid Keita Balde Diao, according to sources in Italy.

The forward, who is in his first season as a senior player at Lazio, is the youngest scorer in Serie A this season and has two goals from just seven league outings.

Born in Catalonia, the 18-year-old spent seven years at Barcelona's esteemed La Masia academy before moving to Italy in 2011 amid interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid.

City and Liverpool have both watched him in action this term, although Lazio have no intention of selling Diao any time soon.
