Swansea manager Garry Monk has quashed ongoing reports that Jacks striker Wilfried Bony is nearing an exit from the club this summer.
Bony has been linked with potential moves to Liverpool and Tottenham during the transfer window, though - having pulled the plug on a deal for QPR's Loic Remy - the Reds are reportedly leading the race for the striker who netted 27 goals for club and country last season.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins had previously admitted to talkSPORT the club will allow the frontman to leave for the right price, but Monk seems less eager to let his prized asset go this summer.
Asked if there was any further news on the continuing rumours over Bony's future in Wales, the Swansea boss told Saturday Scoreboard: "No, nothing, it's exactly the same as it was at the start of the summer. Speculation will always be speculation.
"The good thing for us is that we're in control of everything, no player will leave unless we decide it and we think it's good for the club.
"And from Wilfried's performances throughout our pre-season campaign I think you can see exactly how committed he is to Swansea City."
