Galatasaray have already informed Arsenal and Liverpool target Hakan Calhanoglu of their desire to sign him this winter - despite Hamburg's insistence he will remain in Germany.

talkSPORT told you yesterday that Hamburg are confident of keeping the precocious Turkey international at the Imtech Arena, in spite of mounting interest from across the continent.

The midfielder's agent last week revealed his belief that Arsenal will firm up their interest with an offer imminently, while Liverpool have monitored him this season.

But both Premier League pace-setters could be trumped by Galatasaray, who have already sounded the 19-year-old out over a winter transfer.

"Tugay Kerimoglu, Galatarasaray's assistant coach, phoned me and told me that they want to sign me as soon as this winter," Calhanoglu is quoted as saying to Eurosport France.
