Telegraph: Reds in pole position for ace

Liverpool are preparing a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, 23.

The Reds are believed to be ahead of Juventus and Inter Milan in the race to sign the Swiss star from Bayern.

Sky Italy is claiming that Liverpool have already made a bid for the player.

Shaqiri has only been a bit-part player at the Allianz Arena this season, and is open to a move away from the club.
