Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is targeting Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic, with the youngster set to exit the Nou Camp this summer.
The La Liga side are reportedly demanding a fee in the region of £14m for the Spanish U21 star who recently won the European Championships with Spain's youngsters in Denmark last month.
Premier League rivals Liverpool and Serie A outfit Roma are monitoring the situation closely.
Redknapp flew out to the tournament to scout the attacker during Spain's group encounter against England, and despite his brief substitute appearance, the former West Ham boss is believed to have seen enough promise to move to finalise a deal.
Despite being on the fringes of Guardiola's side since his breakthrough in 2007, Bojan has still managed to hit 41 goals in 163 games for the current European Champions.
And with Guardiola rumoured to be targeting Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi and Udinese's Alexis Sanchez, Krkic faces another season of discontent if he remains at the Nou Camp.
Redknapp has already completed his first bit of business in the off-season, after signing Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel on a free transfer, and is now keen to add some firepower to his attack.
